As ya'll know all "respectable campsites" have six things in common: friends and family to gather, a campfire to gather round, some puppy dogs to love on, some choice meat smokin' over a fire, some cool tunes, and of course an endless supply of adult beverages.

My family has ALWAYS loved a "respectable" campsite!!!!!!!!

It is these six elements that have provided the environment necessary for creating the recipes and cookin' methods you will experience at Mike Anderson's BBQ House. WE DO EVERYTHING OLD SCHOOL. We create our own sauces, we blend our own rubs, we smoke our own meats, we cook meat into our beans, we smash our own taters, we create our own dressings and we bake our own sweets.

We are a one location establishment and ALWAYS will be! What we do can only be found at one place on the planet and I wouldn't have it any other way!

"Dates That Matter"

March 1 1981...we opened our doors to ya'll and ya'll have kept on comin'! We have served over 1.65 million lunches over our counter.

April 1 1988...next thing ya know, folks were always comin' round buyin' food for 15...food for 20...food for 50 and a light bulb finally went off! We needed to offer delivered buffets for sales folks, meeting planners, party-throwers, etc. Shoot, anyone in the area that wanted our BBQ for a group of clients, employees or friends. Our Catering Service was born!!!!

June 1 1995...we expanded Our Catering Service to deliver to the entire D/FW Metroplex. We have now catered over 13,000 events and counting! Ya'll keep callin' and we'll keep comin'!

October 1 1997...we built "Mike's Big Deck". We were runnin' out of seats on busy days and figured what's better than eatin' BBQ in fresh air! Our heated and covered deck seats another 90 folks to enjoy eatin' BBQ outside of walls and ceilings...shoot its like it ain't even in the middle of a workday, just bring friends!

January 1, 2006...Out of city and out of state folks kept on callin' and askin' us to ship the fine aroma of hickory smoked meats and the goodies that go with it to them. Our nationwide shipping business was born! Nothing could be more rewarding for us than delivering "The Taste of Texas" to doorsteps all across the Great USA.
